WE ARE HIRING!  

The Gunnison Conservation District is hiring for the position of District Manager. This is a part-time position (30 hrs/wk).  Required skills include strong accounting skills & knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, grant writing and management, and supervisory ability.  Applicants with a strong dedication to natural resource conservation, agriculture, watershed science, demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail preferred. UPCOMING BOARD MEETINGS:

February 20, 2024, 1:00 pm at the USFS Building (216 North Colorado Street)

March 19, 2024, 4:00 pm at the Fred Field Building, followed by the Annual Meeting at 6:00 pm including dinner, local work group survey, and presentations 

April 16,2024

As of now, GCD meetings will be held in person. Contact the District Manager (gunnisoncd2006@gmail.com) to obtain the meeting location. The District is open for business. District staff are currently splitting their time working remotely and in office. The best way to get in contact with the staff is through email.
