Advanced Water Wise Pollinator Gardening Workshop

In June 2022, we co-hosted a Water Wise Pollinator Gardening Workshop with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, and workshop participants wanted to know more.  We partnered with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for an "advanced" workshop, with speakers on western slope pollinators and their plant associations, propagating Gunnison Basin native plants, and how to design a pollinator-friendly xeriscaped garden at your own home.  There was a portion of the workshop where we got to see how the BLM designed their own pollinator-friendly garden, and we helped plant it.  There are some remaining educational materials, so if you missed  the workshop, please get in touch with Aleshia Rummel (aleshia.rummel@co.nacdnet.net) for more information.
